In front of the red structure and rock tower are bright-green plants. A body of water and grey landscape under a grey, cloudy sky appear in the background.

To guide advances in the development and deployment of clean energy technologies in islands, the international partnership for Energy Development in Island Nations (EDIN) will serve as an objective advisor to help project participants

  • Establish governmental policy that encourages growth in renewable energy
  • Develop financing and other resources for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects
  • Understand, integrate, and plan for renewable energy technology options through technical assistance and training.

Case studies provide examples of how renewable energy initiatives can help islands achieve their goals.
